Aug 2015 Former camper Kayla Horn accepted a full scholarship to play basketball at Central  State University. Congratulations from the Inkster Legends.

Coach Warren Woods Honored
The 15th anniversary was dedicated to coach Warren Woods who passed away this year. We gave his family a pictured plaque, and we will honor him each year with an award to one of the kids that shows his character and attitude toward the game.

We also honored the sponsors with a shirt and our rendition of the Gold medal ceremony award given to each sponsor.

The Valedictorian from  Inkster High School, Shenece Chandler (Cental Mich University), and Robicaud High School, Jessica Oaks (Oakland University), received the laptops complements of My Alma Mata, Northwood University. Piston Announcer George Blaha gave his warm wishes to the campers.

I want to personally thank everyone for their participation; we could not have accomplished our Goal without everyone's Help!!!

The 14^th Annual Inkster Legends Basketball camp was a smashing success!

We donated Laptops to the Brightest and the Best students from Inkster High School and Robichaud High School, compliments of My Alma Mata, Northwood University. George Blaha was in attendance as usual and our speaker was two time NBA champion Earl Cureton.

We staged our first scholarship raffle fund raiser which generated $2,000.00 for four $500.00 scholarships to deserving High School students in the area. We had eight prizes in total:

1. $400.00 gift certificate from Sax fifth Avenue.
2. Half off anything in the store at the mens clothing warehouse in Dearborn Mich.
3. 18 hole foursome at the Inkster Valley Golf Course.
4. Three free oil changes and tire rotation at Cherryhill Motorsports.
5. 3 month free membership at fitness 19 in Dearborn Heights Mich.
6. Dinner for two at Southern Fires Restaurant in Detroit.
7. Dinner for two at They Say restaurant in Detroit.
8. Two feast for two at Famous Daves any Metro location.

All prizes were donated! The winners were:
